I just bought a 2009 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner with factory sounds and the manufacturing plant subwoofer option. I accept noticed I get atrocious FM reception, but my principal business organisation is the sound from the auxiliary port. The volume is depression compared to a cd or the radio even when my ipod or telephone is cranked all the manner up. This just bothers me since I have to put it on max to become any decent sound out of it.
Is this just the fashion these Toyota stereos are, or should I become have it to the dealer?

I'm having the aforementioned issue with my new truck. Such a waste product of a good aux input port. At to the lowest degree I now know I'grand not the only one.

Actually 0.99 ebay plug. And they work, they're just tranquillity. How much did you spend on yours and is the volume sensitivity the same as if you lot were listening to the radio or a cd?

I don't have whatsoever bug with volume on my AUX input with either of my iPods. This is really weird.

My radio kept shutting down then would come on in an i or two hours...dealer re-placed said there are many bad ones out there! I guess its a Delfi product! Took 4 months to get new one into dealer?????

For those without the aux problem, practice you take the JBL organization or the standard system? I have the standard system in my Tacoma that has low aux volume merely my male parent'south Tundra has a JBL organisation that has no issues with the aux port.
I have since replaced my stereo, but I had no problems with the AUX volume or quality and I had the standard 6 disk system.

I accept been using the USA SPEC PA15-TOY for my iPod input, and the volume also sucks using this method. There are some hints and tips to make it louder, only none of them got it as loud every bit it should be, in my feel.
Plus, it kept disconnecting from the stereo at random intervals, and null would consistently brand it reconnect until it was adept and ready.
So, I have a new Tall stereo on the way to me, and the stocker will be up for sale soon.

Could it be the volume limit setting on the iPod/iPhone existence set likewise low? If y'all haven't changed the manufactory setting, become into "setting" and so scroll down to "iPod". Select that and and so select "volume limit". Unlock the volume limit (I call back factory default is "1111") and turn the volume limit up all the way. That may assistance.

I take a JBL organization and my aux button doesn't work! Last night my battery died and then I jumped it and now my auxillory won't work. Just it worked right after I jumped it. But after i turned the machine off and on it wont work anymore. Does anyone know what might have happened?
